Shamona are a three piece band from Liverpool.

Aged between 18 and 19, they are lead vocalist and bass guitarist Pete Riley, Andy O’Connor on lead guitar and vocals and Sean Burns on drums.

Shamona have just finished recording their brand new EP in Liverpool’s famous Parr Street Studios.

Just Like You is the latest release from Riley, O’Connor and Burns, the EP is available now on iTunes and Spotify.

Shamona pride themselves on performing as many live shows as possible, and as a result have played many famous venues in and around the Northwest.

Performing in such diverse venues as Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall and aboard the famous River Mersey ferry the Royal Iris has helped the Liverpool three piece band build up a loyal fan base.Shamona: Just Like You

They have opened for many national touring acts such as the Amy Wadge & Pete Riley Duo and Henry Priestman (of the Christians).

In the past year Shamona have received plaudits and endorsements from the likes of Dave McCabe (The Zutons) Nile Rogers (Chic) Garry Christian (The Christians) Tom Clarke (The Enemy) and the coolest footballer on the planet, Everton and England’s Leighton Baines (EFC).

Shamona have also recently been championed by BBC Radio Merseyside’s Dave Monks.
